Richie Simpson
Richard is an executive and performance coach with a background in business journalism and public relations consultancy. He has worked with a range of businesses from micro to multinational across a range of sectors, as well as with public sector organisations. He provides media skills training to organisations needing to manage risks to their reputation of negative media exposure and has been a visiting lecturer in journalism and public relations at Sunderland University. He also has current Board experience as a non-executive director of an NHS Foundation Trust in the North East.
He has a particular interest in how stories and narrative create and sustain cultures and brands, and how they can improve leadership. His first degree was in Sociology and Social Anthropology and he has written for the BBC daytime drama series Doctors.
He puts great store in developing positive, trusting relationships with clients. He enjoys building rapport and supporting individuals through their life and career challenges.
