Originally joining Thorn EMI as a television engineer was fortunate to begin his managerial career through the succession planning route, being one of the lucky ones, and actually followed a Management Development Programme before being promoted through the ranks. After a series of senior management posts in a variety of industries a long standing desire to work in training/education was realised back in 1993 when he took up a post at a local FE college as a Lecturer in Management Studies. With a background in Customer Service/Sales & Marketing, Peter was the Programme Leader at TMC and also operates as an Independant Consultant, as well as being an External Verifier for ILM. He has also been a keynote speaker on two seperate occasions at Regional Management Conferences over the years and is a well respected professional, whose opinions and inputs are often sought and valued by peers and candidates alike.
